Most Venerable Parakandeniye Seelarathana Nahimi​

The Seelarathana Nahimi Foundation was established to commemorate the Most Venerable Parakandeniye Seelarathana Nayaka Thero, who served as the Senadhipathi (Chief incumbent) of Millatha Kanda Viveka Senasana.

The Most Venerable Parakandeniye Seelarathana Nayaka Thero, who resided at the Millatha Kanda Viveka Senasanaya, was a monk who earned the respect of everyone in the region.

For about 30 years, he held the position of Senadhipathi, protecting and developing the monastery, while being endowed with virtues such as morality and living as a meditation practitioner. Seventeen years later, that is, in the year 2015, this foundation was established to commemorate Most venerable Nayaka Thero.
